Details

After receiving an initial application for HCFS services, a customer is provided with access to the product self-selection pantry. Fresh fruits, vegetables, dairy products, lean meats, handmade breads are available for families. Customers are welcomed at the door by volunteers who provide them with a shopping cart and a warm smile.
Customers receive more than MyPlate nutrition in the Cupboard Corner. They receive the dignity and respect that any person living a crisis craves when they ask for help. Clients can access healthy food supplements once a month for one year. A client must reapply annually to reassess their needs and progress towards their goals.
