Mama J.'s Helping Hand is a private, non-profit program whose mission is to empower families by offering a hand, not a handout.

In addition to meeting the immediate needs of community members for food, clothing, and household goods, Mama J's supports the people in the abused families, often with intrafamily generational renewal problems, by teaching them life skills to break the addiction cycle.

All of Mama J.'s programs aim to instill a sense of ownership and self-confidence in the individual.

Mama J's Helping Hand is a safe place where people can express their feelings of fear, pain, and whatever else they feel and that they have bottled up inside and get the help they need.
