The purpose of this corporation is to provide food to low-income and needy families, as well as counseling and other educational services in health and nutrition to low-income residents.
Recipients are referred primarily by the State of Georgia Department of Family and Children Services (over 90%), with the balance referred by churches. Guidelines have been established to determine qualified recipients.
