Details
Carson Valley Community Food Closet is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization serving food to qualified Douglas County residents.
Basic products are provided monthly to participants to supplement their food supply.
They aim to provide participants with a variety of healthy foods from each group.
When possible, they try to solve specific health problems, such as diabetes and celiac disease.
The Food Closet is supported by donations from individuals, churches, community service and local businesses.
Many food items are donated directly to the Food Closet, while others are purchased at a very low rate through their partnership with the Food Bank of Northern Nevada.

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday: 12:30 pm - 4:00 pm
