At Southpointe, we are passionate about meeting the basic and spiritual needs of our community.
Our Monday meeting Manna for Life is a place where we can share the Gospel and pray with our clients before we open our free Food Larder and Clothes Cabinet.
HOURS:
The first four Mondays of each month 7:30 am10:00 am.
FOOD PANTRY:
Food Closet is a food pantry on campus where people from all backgrounds come to receive fresh and frozen food.
Our pantry provides our customers with dairy products, paper, and non-perishable goods.
Our supplies come from many donors who are members of the Sacramento Food Bank, Food Source, Foods Co, Target, Costco, and Southpoint Christian Center families.
The Food Closet is staffed exclusively by dedicated volunteers and provides hundreds of people with groceries; they help them through difficult times.
CLOTHES CLOSET:
The clothing closet has served hundreds of families in recent years providing clothes, shoes, coats, blankets, and other necessary items.
Dedicated workers receive donated items from people who care during the week and prepare them for distribution.
Many of the items received come from the caring people at the Southpointe Christian Center, as well as from neighbors, co-workers, and family members.
