Details

Provide assistance to the needy and working poor in the East Valley area (Phoenix, AZ).

Each month they feed more than 3,000 people. Most of their clients are working families. They are employed full-time or part-time, and yet still are in need of supplemental food. They also serve people between jobs, those on fixed incomes, seniors, people with disabilities, and homeless clients.


Emergency Food Box Program:
Present a photo ID and register with Matthew's Crossing to receive 1 Emergency Food Box each month.

Emergency Food Boxes are nutritionally balanced non-perishable foods, designed to feed a family of (4) for up to three days.

If available perishable items will be included and may include: bread, milk, meat, fresh produce, and bakery items. Sample of food items in the Emergency Food Boxes include: pasta, rice, beans, canned fruits and vegetables, soup, cereal, dry milk, and canned meats.


Hours of distribution of Emergency Food Boxes:

M, Tu, Th, F 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Wed 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
