The Lowcountry Food Bank supplies food to more than three hundred anti-hunger programs in a ten-county area of coastal South Carolina.
Their efforts to alleviate children's hunger include Kid's Cafe, Backpack and Summer Feeding programs.
They also distribute food in the Commodities Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) to seniors on food stamps and women and children receiving WIC.
The Lowcountry Food Bank is the only distributor of USDA commodities through The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) in South Carolina's coastal counties.
