Their flagship program is our food shelf, where we provide a monthly five-day supply of groceries to families in need.
They also offer fresh produce and bread three days per week.
Providing a wide variety of nutritional and easy-to-make food has long been a priority for CEFS, and it continues to be a challenge that we strive to meet.
In order to accommodate a large and growing immigrant population in the Burlington, VT area, they have added a translator to their staff to help non-English speaking clients navigate the distribution system and accompanying paperwork.
Currently, the CEFS Translator speaks five languages including English, French, and three African dialects.
The CEFS food shelf is open from 9:00am to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday.
