In recent years, the demand for this long-standing ministry has also increased
dramatically.
In coordination with other pantries, we extended our
help those outside our immediate neighborhood like the economic recession has put a lot of pantries under stress.
On Broadway, we try to preserve a sense of dignity and control for those who find themselves
asking for food.
As inventories allow, we let guests choose between a
selection of staples in each food category.
Distributions are limited to a supply of three days (nine meals) once a month.
