In 2008, the owners of the food pantry decided to retire and announced that the pantry would be closed.
After the announcement was made I saw an elderly woman coming to the food pantry crying in her car.
When I talked to her, she said she didn't know what she was going to do for food when the food pantry closed.
My daughter and I had an accounting firm in the same building as the previous food pantry.
Then, my daughter and I decided that they would open a Loudon food pantry in the same location as the old food pantry.
They've been here ever since.
In their future, they hope to create a community centre.
