The South Plains Food Bank collects and distributes food to over two hundred and twenty hunger-fighting agencies and programs in twenty-one counties: Bailey, Cochran, Crosby, Dawson, Dickens, Fisher, Floyd, Gaines, Garza,Hale, Hockley, Kent, King, Lamb, Lubbock, Lynn, Motley, Scurry,Stonewall, Terry and Yoakum.

To provide children with meals after school the food bank operates a Kids Cafe.

They also have a Mobile Pantry to improve service in rural areas that lack the resources to maintain a permanent pantry location.
