The Southeast Texas Food Bank collects and distributes food to about one hundred and thirty hunger-fighting agencies and programs in eight counties: Hardin, Jasper, Jefferson, Newton, Orange, Polk, Sabine, and Tyler.
Their programs include a Backpack program to provide supplemental food to school children on weekends, and a Kid's Cafe to do the same after school.
Their Mobile Pantry works to fill the gaps in service in rural areas.
