The Greater Randolph Area Services Program, Inc. (GRASP), a 501(c)(3) human services organization founded in 1983, helps economically disadvantaged individuals, families, and children.
GRASP programs offer emergency assistance to those in domestic crisis who live in areas of Bexar or Guadalupe counties in communities where access to assistance is limited.
Qualified households receive emergency assistance for rent, utilities, food, and medicine.
The GRASP Thrift Shop provides clothing and household items to needy families experiencing a catastrophe such as fire, flood, or other losses.
The agency provides emergency financial aid, a pantry, transport for senior citizens, daily activities, and nutritious meals at the GRASP Community Centre in Converse.
It was built by GRASP and has been in operation since 1990.
GRASP Community Center is a convenient place for holding programs for adults and youth, receptions, meetings, and other events.
Individuals, companies, civic organizations, and government agencies provide support to GRASP.
GRASP is funded by United Way of Bexar County and San Antonio, Alamo Area Council of Governments, Guadalupe County United Way, Texas Department of Transportation, City of San Antonio, Bexar County, the State of Texas and others.
